These are my favorite places in Fethiye; Some are a hotel in the mountains, some are a beach that I am thankful for a thousand times as soon as I walk through the forest and land on the seaside, some are a farm full of goats and bees whose cheese and honey I eat in the morning, some are a road where I admire while driving, some are a family apartment that I do not share so that it does not get crowded here. Tomato fields, some of which I am confused about in which corner to have my photo taken, and some of the bay where I swim against the moonlight on sunny nights.

In this article, I will share with you a few of my experiences from my favorite places where comfort and natural beauties meet.

1. Discover the Beauties of Fethiye with a Boat Tour

Fethiye is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations to explore and discover. It is one of the indispensable holiday routes of tourists with its ancient buildings witnessing the past, paragliding, Butterfly Valley and boat tours. Ölüdeniz, known for its calm and crystal-clear sea, and famous for its beach, seems to drag visitors to different realms with its azure waters. Nestled between the mountains, with its stunning views and fresh air, it offers a relaxing and serene environment, perfect for a dream-like holiday. It provides a wide range of accommodation options, and there is also a diverse array of dining, beverages and culinary choices in this region. Fethiye and its surroundings offer a delightful variety of accommodation options, ranging from romantic honeymoon hotels, resort hotels, boutique yacht hotels, modest family-run establishments, bungalows, and glamping sites. Kabak Koyu is known as the last neighborhood in Faralya Village in Fethiye. It is located where the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea meet, surrounded by yucca, olive, palm, vine, pine, oleander, date, and bougainvillea trees.

Gemile Bay: You will have the chance to see these unique artifacts closely by diving in this bay, which contains historical ruins under water.

Tersane Island, used as a winter harbor by sailors during the Byzantine era and as a shipyard during the Ottoman period, offers the opportunity to see historical findings on the island.

Aquarium Bay is one of the indispensable routes of boat tourists with its calm water. There are findings of a sunken lighthouse in the central part of the bay. It is a pleasure to watch different kinds of fish swimming here.

Göcek: Göcek is the primary choice especially for those who will take a boat tour. A place with both rental villas and beautiful hotels, it is one of the popular places with a wonderful marina.

4. The Mysterious Kayaköy Route

It is 10 kilometres from the centre of Fethiye. If you do not have a car, it is not a problem, the buses belonging to the municipality of Fethiye go to Kayaköy, you can choose them.It is a village with a history of 5 thousand years and built on a hill on the findings of the ancient Lycian civilisation... Fethiye Amintas Rock Tombs in Telmessos Ancient City are located at high points on the slope of the mountain. The Greeks believed that the gods were in the high mountains, so the status people living at that time built monumental tombs for themselves in the high mountains.   Imagine such a construction that no house blocks the light of the other, does not block the view... Greeks lived on the slopes of Kayaköy and Turks lived in the plain areas. Therefore, it is one of the 4th stops to be visited because it has hosted different civilisations throughout history.

5.  Babadag Mountain Route in Ovacik Region

A trip to the Ölüdeniz region of Fethiye is incomplete without trying paragliding. Who does not want to ascend to the foothills of Babadağ, glide like a bird while enjoying the breathtaking view of Ölüdeniz, and capture those moments in pictures? Even those without any prior experience in parachuting can experience the thrill of paragliding with professional instructors. When it comes to parachute prices, they can be a bit expensive. If you wish to take photos or videos while paragliding, the prices may go up a notch, but you'll definitely want to immortalize this fantastic experience.
